About Jennifer

Jennifer is director of the Greater Philadelphia Centers for Social Therapy  which is a hub for therapeutic, cultural and other community building activities committed to our growth and development. With 18 years of experience in the mental health and child welfare fields, Jennifer is a seasoned family, child and adolescent therapist. She directs a Social Therapy practice where she works with individuals, groups, couples and families. Jennifer has a passion for the power of creativity to help us grow emotionally and build the lives we desire.

Jennifer has clinical and forensic expertise in the arenas of childhood trauma and abuse dynamics. Jennifer provides court testimony on child sex abuse investigations for civil and criminal proceedings. She holds an adjunct faculty position at Temple University, teaching psychology and criminal justice courses. Jennifer is a local, regional and national trainer on the art and science of communicating with youth.

She conducts workshops and consultations for businesses, social services agencies and the broader community on topics of team building, stress management, and creating richer relationships at home and work.

Jennifer holds a Master’s Degree from Temple University in Counseling Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Law and Social Policy from Bryn Mawr College.

Jennifer is a long time community activist and is the founder and director of an all-volunteer creative community theater project, PCIC, which helps actors and non-actors from diverse backgrounds perform together, and is a producer of the All Stars Philadelphia youth development program, a nationally renowned supplemental-education and anti-violence project for inner-city youth.
